WHO WE ARE

Ken and Nancy are instrument rated pilots with a passion and vision for aviation.

ABOUT OUR AIRPLANE

Our 1967  Piper Cherokee 140 has been recently moved to Fullerton, California. The power plant is a single, normally aspirated, 150 horsepower, four cylinder engine. The propeller is two-bladed and fixed pitch. It is IFR certified. The instrumentation includes (2) VOR receivers, (2) Bendix/King radios, and (2) portable GPS receivers: (1) Garmin 296 and (1) Avi8or. Over the past 4 years that we have owned and operated this airplane, it has been our experience that we can expect a fuel economy of about 6-1/2 gallons per  hour of operation. This valuable experience will enable us to budget for our fuel expenditures as well as plan our enroute stops.

OUR PLANS

We just love the weather patterns. Currently, we (in Southern California) are experiencing sunny, warm days, followed by days of thick fog and restricted visibility, followed by days of light rain, followed by days of high winds. Needless to say, the patterns have impacted our plans significantly.
